Adira Productions Inc. was founded by sisters Anna Diaz and Anita Diaz, combining performance, writing, producing and visual development to build female-led stories across film, television and unscripted formats.

Anna Diaz
Anna Diaz is a Canadian actor, producer and creator with experience across scripted television, film, voiceover and unscripted development. Her work in front of the camera informs a character-first approach to developing stories built around strong female perspectives, emotional specificity and visually distinctive worlds.
At Adira Productions Inc., Anna develops scripted and unscripted projects across romance, cultural documentary and prestige drama. She is the creator and host of Hearts Unknown, a documentary travel series exploring love across cultures, and co-creator of Adira's scripted development slate.
Her background also includes five years working professionally in matchmaking, international travel and experience across creative production, all of which inform Adira's interest in identity, relationships, culture and transformation.

Anita Diaz
Anita Diaz is a Canadian producer, writer and creative developer focused on character-driven film and television projects with strong visual worlds and female-led perspectives.
As co-founder of Adira Productions Inc., Anita develops the company's scripted slate across romance, comedy, drama and psychological thriller, working across concept development, writing, visual development and production strategy.
She is a co-creator and writer across Adira's development slate, including Coach Cupid, Royal by Design and other scripted projects, and brings a multidisciplinary creative background to the company's approach to story development and world-building.
